IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO THEY ARE... Il messaggio non è facile, proprio perché mette in campo verità di talmente acquisita semplicità e umanità da lasciare spiazzati o magari da far sorridere amaramente, una volta trovata la chiave di lettura. Il processo per trovarla è lì nell'immagine, scelta per contrastare, per disilludere, per sviare e poi per riportare sulla retta via. Si può credere di essere di fronte ad un grande album fotografico di cui non conosciamo il nome né dell'autore, né delle persone cui appartengono i volti ed è ciò che segretamente tormenta. Tuttavia troviamo rassicurazione nel fatto che quei gesti e quei volti ci appartengono perché siamo noi stessi.

Tecnicamente l'uso del grigio e nero è una costante necessità d'espressione, cristallizza le figure fermandole nel tempo. Come vecchie foto, testimoni di un passato lontano, acquistano autorevolezza nel trasmettere quel messaggio sempre presente in ognuna di esse.

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO THEY ARE... The message is not easy, because chooses simplicity and truth of humanity to leave displaced or perhaps to smile bitterly, once you have found the key to understanding. The process to find it is there in the image, choose to fight, to disenchant, to deflect and then return to the straight way. You can believe to be in front a big photo album of which we know the name nor the author nor the faces of people they belong and that is what secretly torment us. However, we find reassurance in the fact that those acts and those faces are belong to us because they are ourselves.

Technically, the use of gray and black is a constant need of expression, it crystallizes the figures stopped in time. As old photographs, evidence of a distant past, acquire authority in conveying that message always present in each.
